Battle of Britain Service of Thanksgiving and Re-Dedication on 2nd October 2022
A fantastic Battle of Britain - Service of Thanksgiving and Re-Dedication today at St Thomas in Wilbury. Great to see a good turn out from Branch members and friends.
The Branch welcomed back Mark Howell as Standard Bearer, who ably led the other standards on parade.
The Branch were truly honoured to host VIP guests The Viscount Trenchard as well as Mayor and Mayoress of Stevenage alongwith Chairman of North Herts District Council.
Representatives from RAF Henlow, The Royal Navy Association, The Royal British Legion, Letchworth, Hitchin and Stevenage Royal Air Force Cadets Squadrons were also warmly welcomed.
A final mention to Marie Mahoney and Lindsay Dew who brought together a fanatic service with their hard work and dedication. Thank you, you did a fantastic job
